The best websites are well thought out and prepared before any designs are conceptualised. It is a requirement that you have all website content (imagery, copy and a sitemap) ready to go by our agreed upon start date. If you need help sourcing images/photography, text or organising your sitemap, I can most certainly help you with this. This can be discussed prior to scheduling in the project together.
No, I am in charge of the design of your website and the look and feel of the visuals. If you do need copy written for your website, I work with an amazing copywriter that will be able to help and I can include this in your package.
Currently I don’t offer ongoing maintenance services, however in every website package I include training via Zoom (or in-person if you live locally) to provide you an in-depth look into your website and how you can log in, edit pages, create blogs and more. I also include a Help Guide PDF that steps you through each process.
Yes! Every website I design is set up with basic SEO. If you require additional, specific or on going SEO services, I also offer a more in-depth SEO service that takes place over a few months. I do recommend that if you are supplying your own copy for your website, that a professional copywriter takes a look to ensure it has SEO in mind for your specific business and target market.
I design bespoke websites on WordPress, as well as customise templates on the Squarespace platform. My preference is WordPress as it offers so much flexibility for customisation and is easy for clients to manage, maintain and update themselves after hand-off (especially after our training!
If for some reason you are still not happy after two rounds of refinement (which very rarely happens!), we continue the website refinement process at my current hourly rate. Prior to commencing the website design and development, we go through a robust process to ensure we are on the same path, so 99.9% of the time 2 rounds of refinements is enough 🙂
Websites are generally a 4-6 week process, if all goes smoothly, so please take this into consideration for your business goals and deadlines. I usually book about 2-3 weeks in advance, so I recommend getting in touch with me well before your deadline so I can meet your needs.
Yes! I understand that these services can be a large investment for small businesses, so I want to make it easier and more accessible for all.
Payments are broken into two parts. Every project requires a 50% non-refundable deposit. The remaining balance will be split up into payments depending on the length of your project. I do require that the investment is paid in full before completion and sending your site live. A payment plan will be outlined in your proposal.
